A notarial deed convinces for two reasons: the date is certain and the content has not been altered. Verify is not a notary, does not replace one and does not pretend to. What it does is apply those two ingredients to every clean, with public mathematics anyone can check: a certain date and provable integrity, every day, for cents. A notary at every checkout would be impossible. This is the closest thing that exists.

Four layers of protection, zero blind trust

SHA-256 digital fingerprint
ActiveWhen a clean is completed, the full certificate (photos, checklist, date, time and device) is sealed with a unique cryptographic fingerprint. Change a single pixel afterwards and the fingerprint no longer matches: tampering becomes visible. It's public mathematics: anyone can recompute it.
Hash chain & Merkle tree
ActiveNo certificate stands alone: each one is chained to the previous one for your property, and every day's fingerprints are consolidated into a single root. Inserting, deleting or replacing a past certificate would break every one that follows. History cannot be rewritten piece by piece.
Anchoring in a distributed public registry
ActiveEach day's root is anchored in a distributed public registry via OpenTimestamps (on the Bitcoin network), a public record nobody can alter, not even us. Anyone in the world can verify your certificate existed that day, with public tools, without asking us anything.
Qualified eIDAS timestamp
ActiveThe daily root also receives a qualified timestamp issued by Aruba Pec S.p.A., a provider on the European Union Trusted List. Article 41 of the eIDAS Regulation (EU 910/2014) grants it a legal presumption of accuracy and integrity across all 27 Member States: in a formal dispute, whoever denies your evidence bears the burden of proving it.

Verify came out of something that happened to me. A guest booked for one person and five stayed without declaring it. When it came to explaining what happened, I had every step documented and could back up my account with sealed, timestamped evidence rather than just my word.
What your record proves, and what it does not
It proves that this document, with these photos and this checklist, existed on this date and has not been touched since. A certain date and integrity: exactly what gets questioned in a claim.
It does not prove the clean was perfect, and it does not decide who is right. That belongs to the platform, the insurer or the competent authority. A certificate promising more would not be a serious document.
We tell you this plainly for one reason: a document honest about its limits carries more weight with whoever examines it. It is the same thing that makes a deed credible: it does not argue, it states facts.

What happens when the claim arrives
Most disputes are not lost for lack of being right. They are lost for lack of being able to prove it.

You open the record for that check-in: protocol at 100%, photos from that same day with their time, and a seal proving nothing was retouched. Whether you cleaned is no longer the debate. Their version now stands against your document.
Damage appears and the insurer asks how the property was before.

Why these photos count and gallery ones don’t.
